Job description

Role: MarTech Data Engineer

Location: Charlotte / NC / Hybrid

Type of hire: Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in data engineering, marketing technology, or identity infrastructure
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a data clean room environment — LiveRamp Clean Room (Habu) strongly preferred; InfoSum, AWS Clean Rooms, or Google Ads Data Hub also considered
  • Demonstrated experience authoring clean room question logic and/or UDFs within publisher-constrained query models (not just ingestion/ETL work)
  • Strong SQL proficiency; experience with privacy-safe aggregate computation patterns (group-by minimums, noise budgets, suppression rules)
  • Familiarity with identity resolution concepts: deterministic vs. probabilistic matching, RampID or equivalent persistent ID linkage, match rate optimization
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure); Python or Spark for transformation work
  • Working knowledge of data privacy regulations relevant to financial services or regulated industries (GLBA, CCPA, state-level equivalents)
