Job description

Description:

Head of Technology

TMI is a category-leading manufacturer of innovative temporary tattoos with a diverse multi-brand portfolio spanning direct-to-consumer (DTC), Amazon, retail, and B2B channels. As the company transitions from a traditional printing business to a product-led, digital-first commerce enterprise, we are seeking a visionary Head of Technology to lead this transformation. This is a unique opportunity to own and architect the technological foundation that will propel TMI into its next chapter, with full autonomy of the Technology Function.

Why this role stands out

Total ownership of critical technology domains including ERP, ecommerce, CRM/martech, data, security, and infrastructure, all unified under one strategic leader.

Performance measured by growth metrics such as revenue, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value (LTV), rather than just system uptime.

The chance to build and shape the company's technological foundation during a pivotal moment of reinvention and expansion.

The role

You will unify TMI’s technology footprint into a cohesive, scalable, and innovative platform that supports rapid growth and digital transformation.

Lead the development and execution of the company's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.

Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of ERP, ecommerce, CRM, and marketing technology systems.

Drive data-driven decision-making by establishing robust data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.

Ensure the security, compliance, and resilience of all technology systems.

Collaborate closely with executive leadership to define product roadmaps, innovation initiatives, and operational improvements.

Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous learning.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a Director of Technology, or equivalent senior technology leadership role, preferably within consumer products, e-commerce, or manufacturing sectors.

Strong expertise in ERP systems, ecommerce platforms, CRM/martech, data architecture, and infrastructure management.

Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation initiatives and scaling technology solutions.

Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.

Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

Join TMI at this exciting juncture and be a key driver of our transformation. We foster a dynamic, innovative culture that values growth, collaboration, and forward-thinking. This is your chance to leave a lasting impact on a growing company and advance your career to new heights.
