Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, New Realty Investments. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support the Sales & Marketing team in driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior Marriott hotel experience, strong organizational skills, and working knowledge of the FOSSE property management system. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, sales managers, hotel operations, and guests to ensure seamless coordination of group, corporate, and transient business.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Sales & Marketing team.
• Assist with promotions campaign through Social Media as well as support and engagement in local digital channels.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, group resumes, banquet event orders, and other sales-related documents.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and assist with lead generation and qualification.
• Manage and maintain sales files, client databases, and account information.
• Coordinate site inspections, client visits, and sales presentations.
• Process group rooming lists, reservations, and special requests accurately.
• Assist in preparing monthly sales reports, forecasts, and production tracking.
• Communicate group and client requirements to hotel departments to ensure successful execution.
• Support sales managers with account management and customer follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate records in Marriott sales systems and hotel management software.
• Assist with RFP responses and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and hotel policies.
• Participate in sales meetings and contribute to revenue-generating initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of hotel sales, sales support, or hospitality experience.
• Previous Marriott hotel experience required.
• Working knowledge of FOSSE (Front Office System Select-Service Environment) required.
• Experience with Marriott systems and sales platforms preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional customer-service orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Marriott sales tools such as CI/TY, MGS, or other Marriott systems.
• Knowledge of group sales, corporate accounts, and hotel revenue management principles.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support hotel events and client functions.
This is a salary base position. The benefits are; Employee Discount and Paid time off. $40k to $50k
