Part-Time Night Auditor

Residence Inn by Marriott – Columbus, IN

Location: Columbus, Indiana
Job Type: Part-Time (Overnight Shift)


Job Summary

Residence Inn by Marriott in Columbus, IN is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This part-time overnight role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during late-night hours, completing daily accounting tasks, and delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Perform late-night check-ins and early morning check-outs
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
  • Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions
  • Complete end-of-day reports and audit procedures
  • Ensure accuracy of guest accounts and billing
  • Maintain security and safety of the hotel during overnight hours
  • Prepare basic reports for management review
  • Assist with light cleaning of front desk and lobby areas as needed

Qualifications
  • Previous front desk, hotel, or customer service experience preferred
  • Basic accounting or cash-handling experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working overnight shifts
  • Basic computer skills (hotel software experience a bonus)
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Schedule
  • Part-time, minimum of 2 overnight shifts per week
