Job description

Position Summary

Chicken Salad Chick is seeking an organized, energetic, and highly collaborative Marketing Coordinator to support local restaurant marketing initiatives for company-owned restaurants while also helping drive growth across off-premise channels, including third-party delivery, catering, and digital ordering.

This role is ideal for an early-career marketer who enjoys balancing multiple projects, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for bringing national marketing programs to life at the local level. The Marketing Coordinator will assist Company Marketing team and will coordinate between Marketing, Operations, agency partners, and restaurant teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives that drive guest traffic, sales, and brand awareness.

 

Key Responsibilities

Field Marketing Support

  • Assist in planning and executing local restaurant marketing initiatives for company-owned locations.
  • Coordinate grand openings, local store marketing programs, community partnerships, sponsorships, and restaurant events.
  • Support development and distribution of marketing toolkits and communication materials for restaurant teams.
  • Manage requests from Operations teams and provide timely marketing support to restaurants.
  • Coordinate production and delivery of local marketing materials, signage, and promotional assets.
  • Track program performance and compile recaps, insights, and recommendations.
  • Some Travel may be required as needed

Off-Premise & Digital Channel Support

  • Support marketing initiatives designed to grow catering, online ordering, and third-party delivery sales.
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns with delivery partners such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.
  • Assist in maintaining off-premise calendars, promotional schedules, and channel marketing assets.
  • Work with internal teams and agency partners to ensure menu updates, promotional messaging, and creative assets are accurate across all digital platforms.
  • Monitor channel performance and assist with reporting on key metrics including sales, traffic, and promotional effectiveness.

Project Management & Coordination

  • Manage timelines, project trackers, and marketing calendars to ensure programs are delivered on schedule.
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings and follow-up action items with Marketing, Operations, Digital, Culinary, and agency partners.
  • Maintain marketing asset libraries and support organization of campaign materials.
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of marketing experience, preferably in restaurants, retail, hospitality, consumer brands, or agency environments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with digital marketing, third-party delivery platforms, catering, or local store marketing is a plus.
  • Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and community engagement.
