Job Summary
The Assistant Product Marketing Manager supports the Mechanical Locks Product Marketing team in executing portfolio management of existing product families, new product introduction processes, launch readiness activities, and ongoing product lifecycle management. This role is responsible for maintaining critical business tools and documentation, gathering and analyzing market and product data, supporting reporting needs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
(50%) Product Information & Documentation
  • Collect, organize, and maintain product specifications, claims, and supporting documentation.
  • Execute documentation efforts that support portfolio strategy and product management initiatives.
  • Support development and maintenance of product-related databases, trackers, and reporting tools.
  • Ensure documentation is complete and available to support key business milestones and review meetings.

(25%) Market & Business Analysis
  • Conduct analysis of product portfolios, product families, market segments, and business performance to support initiatives.
  • Gather, organize, and maintain market, competitive, and point-of-sale (POS) data to support product management decision-making.
  • Support forecasting, costing, sales analysis, and business planning activities through data collection and reporting.

(25%) Messaging & Cross-Functional Support
  • Respond to cross-functional inquiries regarding product offerings, specifications, and portfolio information.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other functional teams to support project execution.

Education and Experience Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years' experience in marketing

Pay Range: $62,900-$98,800.
