Overview and Responsibilities
We are seeking a strategic, analytically driven Senior Manager, Procurement Analytics & Research, to elevate data-driven decision-making across Paramount's global procurement organization for Marketing and Production. This role will lead advanced analytics projects that inform sourcing strategy, supplier management, demand optimization, and value creation across priority spend categories. Sitting at the intersection of analytics and procurement strategy, this role partners closely with the procurement executive team, vendors, category teams, finance, and business stakeholders to translate complex data into clear insights that drive action. The Senior Manager will help define how procurement uses data and research to prioritize opportunities, measure impact, and improve ways of working. This role will regularly prepare analyses, decks, and communications that will be presented to the executive team. This role balances hands-on analytical execution with thought leadership and stakeholder influence in a dynamic, transformational environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead procurement analytics initiatives that inform category strategy, sourcing decisions, and supplier management
  • Translate complex spend, supplier, market, and operational data into actionable, executive-ready insights and recommendations
  • Partner with category leaders, finance, and business stakeholders to define analytics priorities, success metrics, and value-tracking methodologies
  • Conduct advanced spend analysis, demand analysis, and supplier performance analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs
  • Design and deliver dashboards, reporting, and analytical tools that enable transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision making
  • Own end-to-end analytical projects from problem definition through insight generation, storytelling, and stakeholder alignment
  • Leverage internal data and external market research to inform category strategies, should-cost models, and negotiation approaches
  • Influence senior stakeholders by framing insights in a business context and spearheading alignment on actions and decisions
  • Champion continuous improvement in procurement analytics capabilities, methodologies, and governance
  • Operate proficiently in a dynamic, evolving environment, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related field required. MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain analytics, finance analytics, or related analytical roles
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Demonstrated experience translating complex data into clear, actionable business insights
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including advanced Excel and experience with BI and reporting tools
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity. Proven ability to manage multiple analytical initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong awareness of procurement processes, sourcing, and supplier management

  • Experience supporting strategic sourcing, category management, or supplier performance management
