Arquitectonica is an award-winning, design-focused architecture and planning firm with a worldwide practice of 500+ employees located across eleven offices.   Our New York City office is seeking an experienced marketing manager with 5-7 years’ experience in the AEC Market to join our team. 
Position Description
Arquitectonica is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager to join our team in New York City. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detailed oriented, has a “whatever it takes” attitude, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the AEC industry. Skills necessary to excel in the position include, but are not limited to, leading systems management, proposal sourcing, writing, graphic design, creative thinking, and a comprehensive grasp on research and external outreach. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the firm’s growth and project win rate for high-value and cutting-edge design solutions in a rapidly growing market.
The ideal candidate must be committed to growing their understanding of our business and is poised within a fast-paced environment with the ability to complete simultaneous assignments in a deadline-driven atmosphere. This position in the marketing team requires a level of insight and strategy to project pursuits, working with multiple team members while developing Arquitectonica’s approach to specific clients and opportunities. Candidates should be excellent communicators, strategic problem-solvers, and action-oriented team players.
Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, tracking, reporting of business leads, inputting and updating data on the firm’s portfolio projects (Deltek Vantagepoint)
  • Researching potential pursuits and leads
  • Tracking and maintaining pre-qualifications, IDIQs, registrations.
  • Working with Principals and senior staff to produce qualifications, proposals, and presentations
  • Consultant coordination and management during the pursuit process
  • Preparing tailored brochures and other marketing materials for new clients or work
  • Preparing and updating corporate collateral (resumes, brochures, etc.)
  • Research, design, write and produce marketing materials, specific to project pursuits in alignment with the firm’s brand
  • Manage the firm’s CRM System as it relates to pursuits and new business

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, architecture, or an equivalent level of experience is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an AEC marketing position
  • Experience in an Architecture, Engineering, and/ or Construction firm is required
  • Proficiency working with InDesign, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel as well as have an understanding of Deltek Vantagepoint and OpenAsset
  • The candidate must be able to manage a proposal from beginning to end with limited oversight.

Additional Experience and Skills Desired
  • Fluency in spoken and written forms of Spanish language (not mandatory)
  • Business writing skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong sense of architectural and graphic design
  • In depth knowledge of the local and global architectural industry
