TheSales and Marketing Manager is responsible to develop leisure and groupbusiness for the resort through direct contacts and through partnerrelationships. For groups this willinclude contracting, convention services and all client contact. Leading the marketing strategies for theresort includes social media development and regular postings; creating,distributing and analyzing regular electronic communications and maintaining astrategic action plan throughout the year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
รขโ‚ฌยข Negotiate group and leisure business, guest room rates,meeting room rental, and hotel services that meets or exceeds hotel revenuegoals.
รขโ‚ฌยข Identify, solicit and engage new accounts through onlinesearches, in-person appointments, site tours, cold calls, and inquiries viae-mail, phone and text.
รขโ‚ฌยข Develop strategic tactics to expand the leisure and groupclient base.
รขโ‚ฌยข Generate creative concepts and ensure efficient distributionof marketing materials.
รขโ‚ฌยข Network with industry professionals and event planners tomaintain awareness and drive bookings.
