Job description

Dogtopia offers award-winning dog daycare, boarding and spa services (with some offering grooming and training), our core service is daycare for dogs. We love and care for all dogs like they’re our own and are dedicated to helping them become a well-balanced pup.

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding , and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, sales and solution-minded individual to join our team as our Sales/Marketing Manager. This is a key role within our business to grow the number of dogs in daycare and explain the benefits of our services to our beloved pet parents! This person should love dogs-and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What a bonus! 

This job will be for our Southlake location. The address is 2225 W Southlake Blvd Suite 459, Southlake, TX 76092. We will be hosting the interview at our Roanoke location. 

COMPENSATION

  • $35,000 - $48,000 / year

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibility of a Pet Parent Relationship Manager (Marketing/ Sales Manager) is to grow the number of dogs in daycare.

  • Fully understand the daycare and boarding model
  • Fully understand and be able to effectively explain the benefits of our services
  • Sell memberships to new pet parents
  • Convert generated leads to a Meet and Greet at the Center
  • Conduct the 11 Stop Tour to prospective pet parents at the Meet & Greet
  • Convert the Meet & Greets to a membership sale
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Plan and manage digital, social, and guerilla marketing campaigns for the Center
  • Manage the referral program

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience in sales
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
