Job Description

Leadership level position responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns for U.S. Bank Corporate Payments transportation products that generate demand and accelerate the sales cycle. The role will work closely with many parts of the organization, including the product and sales teams to develop campaigns that deliver sales qualified leads into the sales pipeline. The Growth and Demand Marketing Manager will work with the Group Project Manager to analyze marketing program results for future optimization and use those learnings to build improved marketing programs. Proven ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment adapting to the changing market environment. Must be a self-starter and have agility in thinking and delivery, along with proven ability to take direction in support of company goals. Must have proven ability to delegate and successfully manage multiple projects and assignments that are completed on time and on budget.


Responsibilities Include

  • Lead the end-to-end buyer journey for targeted commercial segments, aligning top-of-funnel awareness with middle/bottom-funnel conversion

  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns in collaboration with agencies, product, sales and technical teams to deploy digital, ABM, and content assets

  • Serve as one of the primary marketing liaisons for commercial sales leaders, translating their business priorities into scalable marketing strategies (rather than one-off tactical requests)

  • Leverage knowledge of marketing automation and emerging technologies to be an advocate for the business line as new tools and sites are implemented by centralized channels

  • Lead and execute plans for presence at trade shows, conferences, seminars and other regional events

  • Own channel performance, lead-to-opportunity conversion metrics, and reporting back to bank leadership

  • Accurately assess and analyze situations to problem-solve and identify solutions

  • Successfully negotiate contracts and activate vendor relationships for the benefit of the company and our brand

  • Be aware of changing market dynamics and collaborate with third party vendors and partners to test and learn new ways to engage and communicate with customers and prospects

  • Make decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plans; receives guidance from senior manager

  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure that all marketing programs are in accordance with all laws, regulations and bank policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 8 years in lead generation marketing is required, and B2B marketing experience is preferred

  • Significant experience with both outbound, inbound and demand generation marketing tactics.

  • Experience marketing to procurement or supply chain professionals or complex financial services

  • Knowledge of and an aptitude for CRM, marketing automation systems, web analytics and emerging marketing technologies

  • Proven ability to communicate with senior level stakeholders

  • Ability to lead multiple cross functional marketing projects simultaneously

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
