Job description

WHAT LJA HAS TO OFFER
LJA is offering an exciting opportunity that will allow you to reach your full career potential. The structure of our organization is designed to amplify your capabilities while gaining the benefits of being an employee-owner. What truly sets this opportunity apart is the chance to collaborate every day with dedicated, skilled, and supportive leaders. Whether you are in the office, in the field, or behind the scenes, working at LJA gives you the chance to grow through hands-on experience and exposure to a broad range of clients and services.
WHAT MAKES LJA DIFFERENT
At LJA, our employee-owners take pride in their work and their workplace. We're guided by leaders who foster a culture of respect, collaboration and a shared vision of success. Our difference is evident in the experiences and opportunities we provide:
  • Employee-owned. Client-focused
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
  • Consistently ranked as a Top Workplace
  • Internal recruitment team, in-house training, and a marketing department specific to our industry
  • We celebrate flexibility, allowing every team and office to lead with their proven approach
  • Our culture champions continuous learning and personal growth
  • We believe success comes through constant evolution and communication
  • We are passionate about having fun and making money, all while creating impact

POSITION OVERVIEW: This internship will primarily support an ongoing large-scale CRM data migration and cleanup initiative. It is a good fit for a student who enjoys organized, detail-oriented work, working with data and systems, and finding ways to make information more accurate, consistent, and useful.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Review, clean, organize, and migrate data into LJA's CRM.
  • Assist with the migration and cleanup of employee resume information, project records, and other proposal-related data.
  • Review existing information for completeness, consistency, duplication, and accuracy.
  • Create and update employee resumes and project sheets using information maintained in the CRM.
  • Assist with proposal closeouts by reviewing completed proposals and transferring updated project, employee, and experience information back into the CRM.
  • Organize and migrate digital assets into Frontify and other centralized information systems.
  • Help maintain consistent naming, organization, tagging, and data standards across marketing systems.
  • Assist with transferring and reorganizing historical files and proposal information.
  • Perform quality-control checks on migrated information.
  • Support information-management, data-governance, and process-improvement initiatives within Marketing Technology & Operations.
  • Assist with other proposal operations, marketing systems, and data-management projects as needed.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:
Depending on current priorities, you might spend part of the day migrating digital assets into Frontify, reviewing and cleaning employee resume information, correcting or standardizing CRM project records, creating proposal-ready resumes or project sheets from structured data, or completing proposal closeouts by capturing updated information from completed proposals and adding it back into LJA's centralized CRM.
Some assignments involve working through large batches of information over multiple days or weeks, so this internship is especially well suited for someone who finds satisfaction in organizing information, identifying inconsistencies, and steadily improving a system.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Although this internship is part of LJA's Marketing team, the work is much closer to data management, information management, and marketing operations than traditional marketing.
Much of the initial workload will involve data migration, cleanup, organization, tagging, and quality control as LJA continues building and improving its centralized marketing information systems.
The work is generally structured and predictable rather than deadline-driven. While priorities may shift as projects develop, the internship is designed around a normal work schedule and provides exposure to how data and technology support proposal and marketing operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with large amounts of information, data, and digital files.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies and follow established data standards.
  • Ability to work independently on repetitive or longer-term assignments.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning new software and business systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE:
  • Interest in data management, information systems, business systems, marketing operations, knowledge management, or process improvement. Previous experience with a CRM, database, digital asset management system, SharePoint, Excel-based data cleanup, or information management is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

LEVEL UP WITH LJA
