About the role

We currently have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Director of Roomsto join our team at The Four Seasons Resort Okinawa. As a key member of the resort leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Guest Services, and Spa departments. Your role will focus on delivering the highest standards of service, ensuring both guest and employee satisfaction, and resolving any issues promptly and effectively. You will play a crucial part in the operational and strategic decisions, while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

What you will do

  • Oversee daily resort operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures as per Four Seasons standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage resort staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized service and effective problem resolution.
  • Address guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, monitoring expenses and revenue.
  • Analyze financial reports to make informed operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and packages.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with other division heads toensure the resort
  • is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role or capacity
