Insurance Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representative

Group Marketing Services is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team. In this role, you'll support agents and clients by providing exceptional customer service, processing insurance transactions, and assisting with day-to-day administrative operations.

As a leading producer with the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, we are committed to providing exceptional service while fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process insurance quotes, new business applications, renewals, and agent contracting paperwork.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls appropriately, and provide professional, courteous assistance to clients and agents.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving billing and service issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients, agents, and insurance carriers.
  • Support agents with quoting, policy servicing, and retention efforts.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other administrative documents while maintaining accurate records and office files.
  • Assemble and distribute broker kits, marketing materials, and other communications.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, advertising efforts, and community outreach events.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and policy activity.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects as needed.
