Job description

The UNM Anderson School of Management is seeking a driven and creative student to join the Communications and Events team as a Marketing Assistant. This role focuses on executing marketing and communications initiatives that support Anderson's strategic goals, with an emphasis on content creation, campaign support, and event promotion.

As a member of Anderson's student team, this position provides applied, hands-on experience working in a collaborative environment while developing practical communications and event management skills, with opportunities to grow within the role.  Responsibilities may include helping capture photo and video content, supporting outreach and engagement with Anderson student organizations, and assisting with general team projects and administrative tasks. Marketing Assistants will contribute ideas, help shape messaging, and work with greater independence and accountability while collaborating closely with Communications and Events staff on ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic and be organized, proactive, and creative, with applied knowledge of marketing and communications principles. Successful applicants will be comfortable managing assigned projects and contributing strategically to marketing efforts while continuing to refine their professional skills and portfolio.
