Marketing Assistant
Location: IN OFFICE Wilmington, NC | Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM |

Speaks Law Firm is seeking a creative, organized, and dependable Marketing Assistant - Content Creator to support the firm's social media, podcast, video, online-review, website, and digital-marketing efforts. The Marketing Assistant will help plan, film, edit, publish, and distribute content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profiles, podcasts, and the firm's website. The position will also coordinate podcast guests, create original social media content, monitor messages and comments, and work with the firm's attorneys, leadership team, and outside marketing partners.
No phone calls or recruiter inquiries.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Help plan, film, edit, publish, and distribute social media and video content - Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Business Profiles.
  • Develop original content ideas and independently create appropriate local and community-based videos.
  • Assist with podcast scheduling, guest coordination, recording, editing, and distribution.
  • Turn podcast episodes and longer videos into short-form clips and posts.
  • Help maintain the firm's content calendar and publishing schedule.
  • Monitor social media comments and messages and promptly route potential clients to the Intake Department.
  • Assist with online reviews and preparation of timely, professional responses.
  • Help upload approved content to the firm's website and digital platforms.
  • Assist with office, studio, equipment, and content-file organization.
Qualifications
  • Strong interest in social media, video, podcasting, communications, or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google
  • Basic video filming and editing skills using CapCut, Canva, Adobe products, or similar tools
  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and interacting with members of the public
  • Creative, dependable, professional, and willing to take initiative
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Good judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information

Compensation:
