Job description

Description

Market Manager, Sleep: North Carolina

(Raleigh preferred but can live anywhere in territory)

Build One of the Premier Sleep Markets in the Country

We are looking for high-performing sleep sales professionals who want more than another traditional DME territory. This is an opportunity to build a major sleep market with a company focused on premium patient experience, operational execution, outcomes, and aggressive growth across CPAP therapy and sleep medicine.

If you are a top CPAP, HST, sleep diagnostics, pulmonary, or sleep therapy seller and have ever thought:

"I could build something much bigger."

"I'm underpaid for the business I generate."

"My company cannot operationally support large sleep accounts."

"Nobody in this industry executes consistently."

"I want real upside."

...this role was built for you.

The Opportunity

The North Carolina market offers a high-growth market with strong payer alignment and a dense base of high-volume sleep programs and referral sources.  This role will build top-tier relationships and win large accounts. Pure hunting role focused on landing and scaling large, long-term accounts.

What You'll Do

Develop and grow relationships with high-volume referring providers

Own and develop your territory like a business

Identify and close large CPAP and sleep therapy opportunities

Drive growth through operational excellence, service differentiation, and strategic partnerships

Conduct in-person and virtual field sales activity across the territory

Lead business reviews and performance discussions with provider partners

Partner internally with operations, clinical teams, and leadership to support account growth

Represent BetterNight at conferences, industry meetings, and provider events

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Proven sleep industry sellers who want to leverage their experience, relationships, and market knowledge to build enterprise-level sleep partnerships with uncapped income potential and no quota caps limiting earnings.

Ideal candidates may come from:

CPAP/DME sales

Home sleep testing

Sleep diagnostics

Pulmonary sales

Sleep therapy

Respiratory/DME leadership

Other products or services from the Sleep Provider industry

Top candidates typically have:

Existing sleep medicine relationships

Experience selling to specialists and large physician groups

A history of building business, not simply maintaining accounts

Strong field presence and executive communication skills

High urgency and competitive drive

The ability to operate independently while building strategic partnerships

Compensation

Top performers should expect to significantly outperform traditional DME compensation models.

Competitive base salary

Uncapped commission structure with no quota cap limiting earnings

Aggressive accelerator model designed to heavily reward high producers

Realistic earnings potential of $200K+ for successful market builders

Top performers can substantially exceed that level

Additional benefits include:

Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)

Auto and phone allowance

Vacation and holidays

Career growth with a rapidly expanding national sleep company

About BetterNight

BetterNight has over 30 years of experience in sleep medicine and supports patients and providers across the country. Under the direction of proven executive leaders in the DME/sleep industry, we are looking to grow quickly and are investing heavily in people who have the skill set and motivation to succeed in building major sleep markets.
