At Jered, a PAR Systems Company and leader in engineered solutions for naval and maritime systems, we design and manufacture critical shipboard equipment supporting the U.S. Navy and fleet readiness efforts around the world.
Jered is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, systems, and operational capabilities across the organization. In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to the Manufacturing Engineering team while supporting production through process optimization, automation initiatives, tooling improvements, and capital projects. Success in this role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate cross functionally to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and overall manufacturing performance.
Success Criteria:
Your success will be measured by your ability to lead a high-performing Manufacturing Engineering team while improving manufacturing performance across the organization. Strong performance includes implementing process improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency; providing technical leadership and support to production; driving automation, tooling, and capital improvement initiatives; and partnering effectively with cross-functional teams to solve manufacturing challenges. You will be expected to develop your team, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to support operational excellence and customer commitments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Previous leadership or people management experience preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing operations
  • Experience supporting fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, or heavy manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced manufacturing environment
