PALFINGER Marine is seeking a Marine Service Technician, who thrives in hands-on, technical environments and takes pride in keeping critical equipment operating safely and reliably. In this role, you'll work directly with PALFINGER cranes, lifeboats, and life-saving equipment-supporting customers through inspections, commissioning, repairs, and global service missions. You'll be trusted as a technical problem-solver and brand representative in the field. If you enjoy travel, complex mechanical systems, and working where precision matters, this is a role with real impact.

_____Your Responsibilities
  • Perform service, testing, commissioning, and annual/5-year inspections on lifeboats, davits, winches, and Palfinger cranes worldwide.
  • Diagnose, repair, overhaul, and maintain hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems using OEM parts and specifications.
  • Conduct Safe Job Analyses and complete accurate service documentation, reports, and required paperwork.
  • Communicate clearly with the Service Coordinator, Service Manager, and customers regarding job progress and findings.
  • Test and verify equipment performance after service or repair to ensure safety, compliance, and operational integrity.
_____Your Qualifications
  • Technical background with hands-on experience in hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Marine or offshore industry experience preferred, with exposure to cranes or life-saving equipment.
  • Prior experience in service engineering, maintenance, or field service roles.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Physically fit, safety-focused, and willing to travel globally as required, including working at heights and lifting heavy equipment.
