River Valley Marine is hiring a Marine Service Advisor to join our team in Rochester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dealership experience who wants to build a long-term career with one of North America's Top 10 Marine Dealers.

Whether you've worked in marine, automotive, powersports, RV, heavy equipment, or another dealership environment, if you enjoy helping customers and understand service and parts operations, you'll fit right in.


Compensation

  • $60,000-$80,000+ annual earning potential
  • $28-$38/hour (total earnings)
  • Base salary + commission

What You'll Do

  • Help customers with boat repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, seasonal service, winterization, and accessories
  • Write repair orders, service estimates, and schedule appointments
  • Recommend marine parts, upgrades, and maintenance solutions
  • Coordinate repairs with technicians and vendors
  • Order OEM and aftermarket marine parts
  • Process warranty claims, inventory, and customer purchases
  • Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
  • Utilize Lightspeed EVO and dealership software to support daily operations


What We're Looking For

  • Passion for boating, fishing, watersports, or lake life
  • Previous dealership Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, Service Writer, or Parts Counter experience preferred
  • Experience in marine, automotive, powersports, RV, heavy equipment, or related industries
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Comfortable explaining technical information to customers
  • Positive attitude and desire to build long-term customer relationships
  • Experience with dealership software such as Lightspeed EVO is a plus
  • Valid driver's license


Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:30 AM-6:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays
