Job description


Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Safe operation and navigation of vessel to meet all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Performance testing of marine engines and electrical systems.
  • Carrying out services and repairs on outboard, inboard, gas, and diesel engines.
  • Troubleshooting engine and electrical problems.
  • Conduct electrical AC & DC system maintenance.
  • Complete and maintain service records and repair documents.
  • Supervise repairs ranging from simple maintenance to complete rebuilding or replacing of major components and assemblies.
  • Must have a general set of marine service tools for mechanical service repairs and diagnostic capabilities.
  • Repairing and installing engines, electrical systems, electrical components, heating, ventilation, and water systems.
  • Certifications for servicing marine diesel and or gas inboard and outboard engines are required.
    • Reporting to the marine manager and assisting in building a team of service technicians.
    • Communicate with customers and supplies when required.
    • Other duties as assigned
