Audiologist Opportunity in Rural Oklahoma Position: Audiologist Location: Rural Oklahoma Setting: Clinic Schedule: Full-time Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry, ABR, ENG, and VNG Diagnose and manage hearing loss, auditory processing disorders, and balance issues Fit and adjust hearing aids and assistive listening devices, providing ongoing patient support Conduct newborn hearing screenings and pediatric audiology services Implement tinnitus management strategies and hearing conservation programs Educate and counsel patients and families on hearing and balance disorders, treatment options, and communication strategies Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and team members for coordinated patient care Engage in community outreach programs, hearing screenings, and health fairs Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical records system Ensure compliance with all policies, regulations, and medical standards Qualifications: Education: Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution License: Active Oklahoma Audiology License (OBESPA) Experience: Healthcare or clinic experience preferred Skills: Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, patient-centered approach, excellent communication, and organizational abilities Additional Requirements: Compliance with safety protocols, including respirator and fit testing Adherence to our vaccination policies (medical and religious exemptions available) Safety-sensitive position Applicants cannot test positive for THC, even with a medical marijuana card Valid driver s license and automobile liability insurance required if travel is necessary
