Job Summary & Description:

March-Westin is seeking highly motivated Construction Estimator with a strong aptitude in commercial construction estimating, bidding, take-off work, Primavera P6, and Sage or similar project management/accounting software, commercial construction practices, and understanding of material and labor costs as they apply to specific projects. This individual will be responsible for preparing and finalizing all bid packages as well as negotiating final costs with prime contractors, subcontractors and vendors. This position will also consist of construction cost input and cost research during the design process; coordination of estimating, pricing, and project buy-out; establishment of project objectives and field staff requirements.

Job Requirements:

· Must be a highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills

· Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook

· 10+ years of estimating experience in large commercial/institutional/industrial construction projects

· A thorough knowledge of commercial construction materials and construction systems, means and methods

· Knowledge of commercial construction material costs, labor rates, installation costs.

· Possess high attention to detail and quality control.

· Skilled in written communication

· Communicate effectively with Corporate Project Managers, general contractors & subcontractors

· Must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
