You will report to the Director of Marketing but work closely with the marketing team to ensure complete alignment for all marketing programs. Our overall goal is to build our brand while driving reservations to the restaurants.
What You Will Do:
Creative Design & Brand Development
  • Beginning-to-End Branding: Lead the conceptualization and development of new brands for restaurant openings while evolving established brand guidelines.
  • Multi-Channel Design: Design high-impact print and digital materials, including menus, check presenters, social media assets, signage, event collateral, window wraps, and branded merchandise.
  • Collaborative Ideation: Partner with Marketing and Restaurant teams to develop design concepts that align with operational reality and creative direction.

Project Management & Process Leadership
  • Workflow Oversight: Manage the full design intake process, including gathering specifications, prioritizing requests, and organizing deliverables for the entire group.
  • Tracking & Deadlines: Maintain a project tracking system (e.g., Monday.com) to monitor timelines and provide transparent status updates to stakeholders.
  • Asset Management: Maintain highly organized brand assets, templates, and working files to support organizational efficiency and scalability.

Production & Vendor Coordination
  • Production-Ready Execution: Prepare technical, production ready files for all print and digital media.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with procurement and external vendors to source, print, and produce menus, merchandise, and branded materials.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the final production and delivery of materials to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely distribution to specific restaurant locations.

Who We're looking for:
A creative visionary: No idea is big or bold enough, Maple & Ash is a pioneer in crafting the restaurant-focused lifestyle brand. From our custom menus to our tasting menu creativity is in our blood.
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
• 3-5+ years proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in the restaurant or food industry.
• Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite
• (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of design work, particularly in print and digital media.
• Photography, videography, and image editing is a plus.
