Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrical Project Manager in Greenville, SC. The Electrical Project Manager will lead and execute industrial and manufacturing electrical projects in the Greenville area, overseeing scopes ranging from $5M to $30M. The ideal candidate brings at least four years of project management experience and a proven track record of managing multiple field leaders from initial planning through final closeout.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $100,000 to $130,000 Annually BOE

Licenses/Certifications Required:

  • OSHA 30
  • CPR/First Aid
  • NFPA 70E

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle for industrial and manufacturing electrical installations from early planning through successful closeout.
  • Build complete buyout takeoffs and perform detailed estimating tasks using Bluebeam.
  • Partner with field supervision prior to mobilization to develop dimensioned underground and rough-in layouts.
  • Oversee and bring on additional field supervision including Superintendents and Foremen as project requirements scale.
  • Review submittals and manage multiple smaller concurrent projects when required.
  • Coordinate with specialized subcontractors for fire alarm systems, lightning protection, and dock pour-backs.
  • Oversee complex installations including tilt-wall construction, 600V power distribution, and UPS/generator startup.
  • Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and McCormick to maintain project documentation and schedules.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure adherence to budget and timeline constraints.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience managing greenfield or expansion projects in industrial and manufacturing settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage electrical scopes of work valued between $5M and $30M.
  • Strong track record of successfully managing and leading multiple Superintendents and Foremen.
  • Proficiency with project management and estimating software including Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and McCormick.
  • Hands-on experience with 600V power distribution, UPS systems, and generator installations.
  • Familiarity with Accubid estimating software is considered a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform field inspections, which may include climbing ladders and navigating active construction sites.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands to operate computers and mobile devices.
  • Must be able to work in various environmental conditions and industrial settings.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
  • Must maintain awareness of OSHA safety standards and site-specific hazards.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
