NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a confidential manufacturing organization seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer to support customer-driven projects from proposal through startup.


What You’ll Do

  • Support new customer projects from proposal through startup by developing engineering solutions, process flows, layouts, and cost assumptions
  • Coordinate cross-functional project execution across Operations, Quality, Procurement, IT, suppliers, and customers to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
  • Support equipment, tooling, process changes, startup activities, and technical documentation while identifying and resolving project risks
  • Maintain project reporting, databases, and trackers while supporting continuous improvement, quality, and operational efficiency initiatives


What You Bring

  • Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Packaging, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, operations engineering, supply chain, or regulated production environments
  • Experience supporting projects from concept and quoting through implementation and startup, including process flows, layouts, and project coordination
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills with familiarity in databases, CAD/layout tools, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
