Overview
Enjoy a 4-day work week!

The hours are 6:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Thursday.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating CNC machinery. This role is essential for producing high-precision components that meet our quality standards. The CNC Machinist will work closely with management and other team members to ensure that all specifications are met and that production processes run smoothly.


Duties

  • Operate CNC machines, including lathes, to manufacture parts according to specifications.
  • Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and calipers to inspect finished products for accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the management team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in operating CNC machinery, including lathes and mills.
  • Some college
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and documentation practices.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a machining or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
