Sudden Service, INC (SSI) is a subsidiary of the Taylor Group of Companies, a third-generation family-owned business based in Louisville, MS since 1927.Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, improving, and managing manufacturing and remanufacturing processes at the SSI Philadelphia Distribution & Operations Center (DOC). This position supports the production of aftermarket replacement parts and the rebuilding of complete lift trucks, assemblies, engines, transmissions, axles, and components.The Manufacturing Engineer works closely with Production, Quality Control, Supply Chain, Service, and Engineering personnel to improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery performance, and cost.
