Job description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer – Programmer with extensive CNC programming experience who can develop and optimize multi-axis machining processes, improve production efficiency, and support aerospace or precision manufacturing operations.


Job Description:

  • Create, refine, and manage CNC programs for multi-axis milling, turning, and mill-turn operations using CAD/CAM platforms such as Mastercam, Siemens NX, or Fusion 360.
  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications to define machining processes, cutting paths, tooling selections, and machine parameters.
  • Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve part manufacturability, reduce cycle times, and ensure conformance to aerospace standards such as AS9100 and NADCAP.
  • Design effective workholding and tooling solutions, conduct first article inspections, and troubleshoot machining issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts including Kaizen events, 5S, SMED, and Lean initiatives aimed at waste reduction and process standardization across the shop floor.
  • Mentor and train junior programmers, operators, and machinists through workshops and one-on-one coaching covering programming techniques, tooling strategies, and standard work practices.
  • Support new product introductions by developing prototype programs and refining processes through the full manufacturing lifecycle.
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) is required, along with 8+ years of CNC programming experience including at least 3 years in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
  • Strong working knowledge of G-code, 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining, tight-tolerance components, and materials such as titanium, Inconel, and aluminum alloys is expected.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MES systems, Lean Six Sigma certification, and experience in low-volume, high-mix production environments are preferred.
