Position

Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a section or department to achieve optimal efficiency, while showing respect and compassion for the people and company.
  • Consistently apply quality control throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that problems are avoided, recognized and/or corrected.
  • Review and analyze reports to predict or correct production flow issues.
  • Learn how to use and help the team with utilization of Leadtec, our shop-floor workflow tracking and real-time payroll system.
  • Possess good computer skills.
  • Quick Learner

Job Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Responsible and self-motivated with a strong work ethic to work independently.
  • Must be a team player that can work well with others.
  • Have an always say “It Can Be Done” attitude and willing to be involved.
  • Must have respect and empathy for co-workers, their team and the company.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Speaks fluent Spanish and can understand English
  • Mathematical strength and highly analytical.
  • Ability to multi task, learn quickly, prioritize and to diligently follow up.
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle a busy environment.
  • Stitching experience a plus


Physical Requirements:

  • Physical labor is often necessary for 8 hours or more per day with breaks approximately every two hours including stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing,

pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, vibration, noise and engaging in repetitive motions.

  • Excellent vision to inspect material and products for defects.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Progressive hand movement and use.
  • Must be able to stand 8 + hours and be flexible with manufacturing hours/schedule.


Education & Experience Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of shoemaking/manufacturing experience or general manufacturing experience & production facilities or equivalent education.
