Job description

Are you looking to advance your career and learn new skills with a rapidly growing company?

National Carwash Solutions has grown over the past 50 years to become North America’s largest equipment, service, and cleaning solutions provider in the car wash industry! Based on De Pere, Wisconsin, our NCS Chemistry facility develops and manufactures the cleaning and care chemicals that power car washes across North America. Our team combines chemical expertise with hands-on innovation to create formulas that deliver a superior wash experience — from soaps and waxes to specialty treatments. Join us and help shape the products that keep the car wash industry running.

As the Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead our maintenance and reliability efforts at our automated chemical blending and distribution facility in De Pere. In this role, you will direct the maintenance department to execute corrective work and asset strategies while acting as the resident Reliability expert. A major component of this position is partnering with the operations group to build a culture of operator-driven reliability, coaching them to own the performance and upkeep of their equipment.

Beyond core production equipment, you will take full accountability for our facility's building and grounds, our traditional lift truck fleet, and our advanced Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Leadership & Execution

  • Direct the daily activities of the maintenance team to effectively complete corrective work orders and preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.
  • Oversee and optimize asset strategy execution to minimize downtime and extend equipment life cycles across the blending and filling lines.
  • Manage maintenance workflows, parts inventory, and external contractor relationships.

Reliability & Operations Partnership

  • Provide hands-on Reliability expertise to the operations team, championing Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
  • Coach and empower machine operators to take ownership of the basic care, troubleshooting, and reliability of their equipment.
  • Analyze equipment performance metrics (such as OEE) to identify chronic issues and implement continuous improvement solutions.

Automation, Fleet & Facilities Management

  • Manage the health, routing optimization, and maintenance of the facility's Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) fleet and associated software systems.
  • Oversee the maintenance and safety compliance of the traditional lift truck fleet.
  • Direct all building and grounds maintenance for the 50,000 sq. ft. facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance role within a fast-paced manufacturing, chemical processing, or filling environment.
    • At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
    • Understanding of equipment with ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
    • Planning maintenance schedules for building systems
  • Reliability Expertise: Strong background in maintenance reliability methodologies (TPM, RCM) with a track record of successfully coaching operations teams on equipment ownership.
  • Technical Aptitude: Experience managing highly automated production equipment. Familiarity with AMR fleets, SCADA platforms (such as Ignition), and modern control systems is highly preferred.
  • Facilities & Fleet: Previous accountability for facility infrastructure and material handling fleets.
  • Leadership Style: Collaborative, hands-on leader who bridges the gap between maintenance and production to operate as one unified team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
  • Required to stand for prolonged periods
  • Intermittently lift medium to heavy weight up to 75 lbs.
  • Intermittently required to bend and twist

Visa Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, TN, O-1, or other employment-based visas). Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
