Position Overview:
The Maintenance Mechanic Helper supports the maintenance and production teams by starting, monitoring, and assisting with production equipment. This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for someone looking to gain experience in food manufacturing and industrial maintenance.
Available Shifts:
1st Shift: Tuesday Saturday | 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: Tuesday Saturday | 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
  • Start up and shut down production machines according to procedures
  • Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper performance
  • Assist maintenance mechanics with basic repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Respond to minor equipment issues and escalate when needed
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Follow all safety procedures (PPE, LOTO awareness)
  • Support production needs and communicate issues to supervisors
  • Follow all GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude or interest in hands-on work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
