Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and be a key player in the manufacturing world? We're looking for a Manufacturing General Laborer to join our dedicated team! In this hands-on role, you'll help create top-notch aluminum parts and assist in the assembly of docks and boat lifts. Whether you're cutting, bending, drilling, or deburring, your attention to detail and mechanical know-how will contribute to our success.

Position Summary:
Working under the supervision of our Manufacturing Supervisor, you'll be part of a team dedicated to the creation and assembly of aluminum parts. From precise cutting and bending to quality control and general labor, your hard work will help ensure we meet production goals while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Parts Fabrication:
    • Deburr aluminum parts to remove sharp edges and meet quality standards.
    • Operate drilling machines to create accurate holes in components.
    • Use saws, shears, and other tools to cut aluminum to precise specifications.
    • Bend aluminum parts using machines according to blueprints or work instructions.
    • Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards before moving to the next stage.
  • General Labor:
    • Perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials for assembly.
    • Assist with assembly, packaging, and other manufacturing tasks as needed.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area by removing scrap materials and waste.
    • Comply with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for you and your team.
    • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
    • Use Microsoft Teams and other software to communicate and collaborate with the team.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, especially with aluminum fabrication, is a plus!
  • Tools & Skills: Basic experience with powered and hand tools, and an understanding of mechanical processes.
  • Team Player: You'll work closely with others, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are a must.
  • Willingness to Learn: We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the company.

Physical Demands:
  • Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
  • You'll be standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting throughout the day, with the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Work in a typical manufacturing environment, using safety equipment such as eye protection, hearing protection, and protective footwear.
