Job description

Position Summary:
The General Laborer supports manufacturing and production operations by assisting with material handling, production staging, shipping preparation, machine operation, and general shop maintenance. This role works closely with production staff to ensure materials, equipment, and work areas are organized and prepared for efficient workflow.


Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Stage materials, supplies, fixtures, and pallets for production.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment, including palletizing, banding, wrapping, and labeling.
  • Assist with unloading deliveries, inspecting materials, and moving items to designated locations.
  • Operate robotic welding equipment by loading and unloading parts, monitoring quality, and reporting issues.
  • Remove excess weld material, burrs, and sharp edges using hand and power tools.
  • Perform general housekeeping, maintenance, and custodial duties throughout the facility.
  • Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools such as tape measures and squares.
  • Manufacturing, welding, shipping/receiving, or machine operation experience is preferred.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds with assistance and work in an industrial environment requiring standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement.
