Job description

The main responsibility of a Production Operator is to process customer materials through our spray drying operation and prepare finished materials for shipment back to the customer.  

Specific Primary Duties:

  • Operate forklift to store outgoing customer material
  • Assist with preparing customer material for entry into the spray dryers
  • Assist with blending and cooling customer material
  • Assist with packaging and storing customer finished material
  • Assist with packaging and storing scrap material
  • Populate Container Data Sheets in an accurate and complete manner
  • Assist with cleaning spray dryers and related equipment

 Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in the spray drying industry preferred but not required
  • Experience working at an industrial site required
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions from superiors  
  • Team player
  • Pro-active self-starter requiring minimal supervision
