The Manufacturing Engineer's primary responsibilities will be to focus on continuous improvement for manufacturing operations by analyzing, developing, and implementing cost-effective manufacturing solutions to support KPI's. This position will be involved with and leading the implementation of 5S, conducting kaizen events, product quality improvements, root cause analysis, and cost reduction initiatives. Position does not require direct supervision however it will require leading kaizen events.
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Development and implementation of 5S program
  • Continuous improvement through planning and leading kaizen events
  • Support plant operations as necessary to ensure KPI's are met
  • Capital expenditure project development and implementation
  • Determining manufacturing equipment needs
  • Conducting root cause and corrective action for manufacturing non-conformances
  • Work instructions, standard work, and process flows

Qualifications for Manufacturing Engineer:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
  • 1-3 Years Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Quality Engineering โ€ข
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent organizational skills โ€ข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience in 5S implementation
  • Kaizen leadership experience
  • Fabrication and Assembly experience
  • Value stream mapping experience โ€ข Mechanical Assembly experience
  • Limited travel required for job, 10% or less
  • Occasionally requires lifting and exerting in other directions up to 75 pounds
