HVAC Design Engineer - Sheet Metal


Junior & Senior Positions available


Job Summary:
We are seeking a Design Engineer with experience in SolidWorks or similar to support the design and development of sheet metal components for HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will create detailed models and drawings, ensuring designs meet performance, manufacturability, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design sheet metal components and assemblies using SolidWorks or similar
  • Create detailed drawings, BOMs, and documentation for fabrication
  • Develop HVAC-related products such as ducting, enclosures, and brackets
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams
  • Review designs for manufacturability, cost, and efficiency
  • Support prototyping, testing, and design revisions
  • Maintain design files and documentation standards


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR Equivalent Experience
  • SolidWorks proficiency highly preferred
  • Experience with HVAC systems or sheet metal design
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes (cutting, bending, forming)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience with duct design or HVAC equipment enclosures preferred
