Position Summary:
A Manufacturing Associate is a versatile individual who operates heavy machinery in different departments on the facility floor. In this position, it is important to fulfill the pan orders provided by suppliers by quickly and accurately completing tasks to pans in particular orders given by Shift Supervisor.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs typical press operations to support the various departments on facility floor
  • Detects and inspects pans for imperfections
  • Informs Plant Manager, Supervisor, or Shift Lead of any problems found within the pans
  • Repetitive motion, lifting, bending, and twisting
  • Wear all PPE in all areas
  • Utilize hand-eye coordination
  • Complete all other tasks assigned by Shift Supervisor and/or Plant Manager
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, company handbook, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to regularly stand, walk up and down steps, bending and twisting at the waist, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feels objects, bending at the elbow, reach overhead, lifting from the floor, turning of the head, looking up and down, pushing and pulling
  • Ability to read and follow instructions given by Shift Supervisor and/or Plant Manager
  • Occasionally lift 10-50 pounds
