Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring a General Laborer / Machine Operator for a vinyl graphic design and converting manufacturer in Placentia, CA. This is a temp-to-hire overnight position paying $20/hr with weekend availability required. In this role, you will pack finished goods, assemble boxes for shop orders, supply raw materials for packaging, and assist Slitter Operators on the converting floor. This is a long-term placement opportunity with a stable overnight schedule.


Pay: $20.00/hr

Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, weekend availability required

Location: Placentia, CA

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Primary workplace language(s): English

Work Environment: Manufacturing Plant / Factory


Responsibilities

  • Assemble and build boxes to meet shop order specifications on the converting floor.
  • Pack finished goods with the correct materials and labels for outbound orders.
  • Locate and deliver raw materials to the packaging area to keep production running.
  • Assist Slitter Operators with department tasks as directed.
  • Maintain pace with high-volume converting department workflow during overnight shifts.


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or converting environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a converting, printing, or vinyl graphics manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with packaging operations including labeling, box assembly, and finished goods handling.
  • Experience supplying or staging raw materials for production lines.
  • Ability to work consistently on overnight shifts and adapt to production schedules.
  • Prior experience supporting machine operators or working alongside automated converting equipment.
