Job description

PrideStaff is seeking dependable, safety-minded Manufacturing Production Associates for one of manufacturing client in the Fort Lauderdale area.

This is an excellent Temp-to-Hire opportunity to get your foot in the door with a stable, growing local company. If you are a hard worker who takes pride in your punctuality and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Assemble physical components or finished goods using hand tools, basic power tools, or specialized assembly-line fixtures.
  • Assist in setting up, loading raw materials into, and safely operating production machinery.
  • Visually inspect raw materials and finished products for flaws, damage, or structural defects to ensure everything meets quality standards.
  • Help pack, label, and box finished goods for warehouse inventory or shipping; fill out basic daily production records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace (5S compliance) to ensure a smooth, seamless handover to the next incoming shift.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or light industrial environment is highly preferred, but our client is willing to train individuals with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to read and follow basic written assembly instructions, schematics, or work orders.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift, perform repetitive hand/arm movements, and comfortably lift.
  • Must be willing to submit to a standard pre-employment drug screen and background check.
