Description

We are seeking a hands-on and driven Assistant Line Manager to support manufacturing operations by leading production teams, managing materials and processes, and driving efficiency across multiple production lines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality output, meeting production goals, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment.


Requirements


Job Responsibilities

  • Support management of production teams, including supervisors and line employees
  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and schedule adherence
  • Manage material flow, assembly processes, and production line coordination
  • Monitor and ensure products meet design and quality standards
  • Track and report production performance metrics (quality, safety, productivity)
  • Identify and resolve production issues in real time
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost, and efficiency
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving on the production floor
  • Foster a positive, engaged, and high-performing team environment
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, project management, and field teams
  • Assist in planning, executing, and follow-up of production activities
  • Support development and adherence to budgets and operational goals


Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-7 years of experience in manufacturing, including leadership responsibilities
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Hands-on leadership style with ability to lead by example
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in construction or modular manufacturing environments preferred
  • Experience managing low-volume, high-mix production processes preferred
  • Experience managing material flow and production scheduling preferred
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams
