Job description

Part-Time Pediatric Ophthalmic Technician
At Wolfe Eye Clinic, we create Better Vision for a Better Life.
We have an immediate opening for a part-time (20-29 hours) experienced Ophthalmic technician working in our Pediatric department.
The ophthalmic technicians work closely with ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive care for our patients. Candidates should be ready to work both independently and as a member of a team, accept responsibility for assigned patient care and be able to perform responsibilities in a friendly and efficient manner.
Responsibilities include:
-Taking patient medical and ocular histories
-Performing patient workups
-Diagnostic testing
-Accurately measure eye muscle
-Patient education
Experience is required.
Ideal candidates would be skilled in:
-Manual refraction
-Ocular motility
-Tonometry
-Performing OCT and VF testing
Daytime travel required. When traveling outside your base clinic, travel time and mileage will be reimbursed.
