We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support Component Integration Testing (CIT) and System Integration Testing (SIT), ensuring results are documented before moving code to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment. All testing performed in this role is manual. This position will be full-time and onsite.
What You'll Do
Support manual Component Integration Testing (CIT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) and ensure results are documented before moving code to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment
Create and maintain manual test cases to validate software functionality against requirements
Link manual test scripts and use cases to the traceability matrix to support requirement coverage and correct software behavior
Manually execute test scripts and use cases at regular intervals to support continuous integration and delivery
Participate in the planning and estimation phases of project cycles to help identify manual testing needs
Assist in establishing and maintaining controlled test environments for accurate and effective manual testing
Ensure test bed is conditioned and accounts are prepped and aged in various stages of the workflow
Monitor, prioritize and track software issues and defects throughout the development lifecycle
Document defects and collaborate with development teams to support timely resolution
Manually retest resolved defects to verify thorough resolution
Perform manual Regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality
Perform manual Security testing to validate against potential threats and test user profiles for correct system access by profile
Perform manual Compatibility testing to ensure interfaces and applications work across different environments and platforms
Support manual Data Conversion testing execution
Assist with manual Stress testing to evaluate performance under extreme conditions
Help ensure testing results are approved and workarounds are identified prior to implementation
Assist in gathering documentation needed for CMS required UAT reporting
What You'll Need
Required:
Three (3) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in manual Quality Assurance testing or a similar role
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Three (3) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in creating and manually executing test plans, cases and detailed scripts
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
