Job description

Our client, an industry leader in agriculture, is seeking a Harvest Scale Operator to join their team. As a Harvest Scale Operator, you will be part of the operations supporting the agricultural production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Harvest Scale Operator

Location: Switz City, IN

Pay Range: $20

Shift: Day hours, 6:30am-3pm

What's the Job?

  • Scale in/out trucks and perform accurate recordkeeping to ensure correct payments for growers and carriers
  • Serve as the key point of contact for internal and external customers
  • Print and verify scale tickets, seed load tickets, and other necessary paperwork
  • Create and maintain data in Excel spreadsheets and global seed systems
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Administrative work experience preferred
  • Proficiency with computers and databases, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively as part of a team
