UNDERSTANDING
The DC Pick and Pack Operator position is essential to the warehouse and inventory operations. The DC Pick and Pack operators are primarily responsible for picking all LTL, FTL and small parcel orders in a timely manner with emphasis on accuracy and quality. This team member aligns seamlessly with our core values, they hold no ego, are accountable for keeping themselves safe and motivating others around them to do the same. SCOPE
This position reports to the DC Warehouse. They support work activities in the DC Warehouse area as needed. They also support other operational activities in other departments as directed by management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Picking all LTL, FTL and small parcel orders in a timely manner with emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Palletizing orders in a stable manner that is acceptable for shipping.
  • Verification through item/product scanning that product being picked is the correct product description, quantity, lot, and best buy date matching the system information.
  • Ensures pallet label is placed with all completed orders to include customers name, order number date and ship[p via for which the order is shipping accurately.

  • Verifies finished good items and ensures they are stored and transferred to the correct locations throughout the warehouse in accordance with the warehouse process.
  • Performs physical Inventory of assigned areas when directed.
  • Meets daily/weekly/monthly production KPI's and warehouse objectives.
  • Comply with all Quality, HAACP, GMP and Food Safety Standards
  • Escalate Safety, Quality, and Productivity issues immediately to supervisors.
  • Maintains and is responsible for the maintenance and safe return of all equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Basic computer skills to operate computer automated equipment.
  • Must have basic math skills (with use of a calculator)
  • Must be able to read and interpret weight scales and tape measures.
  • Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift with applicable breaks.
  • RF Scanner and/or previous ERP system experience is a plus.

EDUCATION
  • Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
