MANTECH  seeks a mission-driven and detail-oriented Director of Operations to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The Director of Operations plans, directs, and coordinates the operations of public and private sector organizations while overseeing multiple departments and locations.

  • Formulate high-level policies and manage the daily operations of complex networks involving diverse human and material resources.

  • You will act as the principal authority for coordinating through subordinate supervisors to achieve mission-critical organizational objectives.

  • The Director of Operations serves as the principal lead for theater-wide logistics operations and strategic sustainment planning within the priority theater.

  • Authorize the synchronization of multi-domain logistics services to ensure sustained combat power in contested environments.

  • Approve complex operational frameworks and serve as the final authority for resolving high-priority logistics gaps and mission constraints.

  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field and 12+ years of position-relevant experience working in commercial industry in INDOPACOM AOR

  • Must demonstrate strategic experience in formal document approval and acting as the functional lead for program-level operational deliverables.

  • Must possess expert-level proficiency in joint theater distribution and theater campaign plan requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MA/MS in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or a related i field and 15+ years of position-relevant experience working in Business Operations in and around the INDOPACOM AOR

  • PMP certification.

  • Extensive experience directing logistics operations for USSOCOM or USINDOPACOM at the senior staff level (O-5/O-6 or equivalent) is highly desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must hold an active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $144,900.00-$260,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH's benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
