Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Collaborate with team to code and develop a web application process using Java/J2EE technologies like Core Java, spring, Hibernate, JPA, Micro Services, SOAP and REST Web Services, XML, JSON, Junit and UNIX. Build data-driven systems using core JDBC/Spring JDBC API classes, SQL, stored procedures and Oracle PL/SQL. Ensure that code meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility as per the company standards. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Design and develop end-to-end Continuous Integration and Continuous Development pipelines. Ensure systems and applications are available 24/7 to users. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent), in Information Systems or related field and 3 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, Analyst, Software Developer or related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 3 years of experience must include: Developing SQL queries to retrieve data from database to UI and fine tune stored procedures to fix application performance; Designing and developing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to ensure applications developed are available to users using LightSpeed classic and LightSpeed Enterprise; Developing software using Java, Spring framework, Springboot, Oracle, Maven, Jenkins, Shell scripting, Angular, Tomcat, Webservers, JSON, XML; Designing and developing manifest pipelines for pipelines to run using Harness and Helm charts; Managing and creating releases using udeploy, Jenkins, RoD, Tekton, SNOW; Integrating Code vulnerability scanning tool SNYK in the CI stage and fixing the code vulnerabilities as reported; Integrating application with upstream and downstream applications using 2 way SSL protocol, OAuth authentication and Gateway; Debugging and fixing any issues reported in the pods running in RedHat Openshift and managing resource and CPU allocations in Openshift; Integrating and Monitoring application performance using Grafana, AppDynamics, Glassbox and ITRS; and Understanding and suggesting tools and techniques for development and operations.
