We are seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. About the Role
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations, maintain the highest standards of food quality, and support the continued success of one of Cincinnati's premier dining destinations. You will play a key role in mentoring kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in execution, and helping deliver memorable dining experiences for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the CDC with daily kitchen operations
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate culinary team members
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and execution
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and food cost controls
- Support menu development, seasonal features, and special events
- Manage kitchen operations and staffing in the Executive Chef's absence

Qualifications
- Previous Sous Chef experience or demonstrated culinary leadership
- Strong understanding of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, scratch-kitchen environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Commitment to quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
