Position Summary

Via Vite is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Expo (Expeditor/Food Runner) to join our team. The Expo plays a critical role in ensuring dishes are presented accurately, efficiently, and beautifully before reaching our guests. This position acts as the communication bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining room

• Ensure all dishes meet presentation, portion, and quality standards before leaving the line

• Verify accuracy of each order against tickets and communicate modifications clearly

• Garnish and plate dishes as needed according to restaurant standards

• Communicate effectively with chefs, servers, and management to maintain smooth service

• Deliver food to tables promptly and describe dishes when appropriate

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and service areas

• Assist with side work and support front-of-house or kitchen team as needed

Benefits:

• $11/ hr plus tips 
• Closed on Sundays with the exception on Easter and Mother's Day

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience preferred (fine dining experience a plus)

• Strong communication and multitasking skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Team-oriented attitude with a positive and professional demeanor

• Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time and full-time positions available

• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
