Overview
Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising - Beauty
J.C. Penney Company, Inc.
Plano, Texas
The Sr. Manager - Visual Merchandising will support and assist Director - Visual Merchandising with day-to-day job functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversees the overall aesthetic/execution of the beauty space.
• Manages a direct report or reports (Specialist, Sr. Specialist level)
• Develop fixture layouts, for all Beauty entities (based on Buying teams strategy, monthly)
• Create/ Develop/ and Present the average planogram set for approval
• Create set tools monthly for stores to implement. (brand guides, set planners, fixture layouts, photos)
• Coordinate with Merchant teams on upcoming trends and how to bring them to life in store
• Create and Maintain visual standards for Beauty
• Manage execution of assigned entities; fixture layouts, mannequins, graphics, 3d elements
• Manage graphic needs per designated entities. From conception to store implementation
• Manage National Vendor partnership for all sets, graphics, and new fixtures
• Work closely with Beauty Operations Team to ensure standards and processes are met for execution in store
• Monitor competitors visual merchandising techniques and incorporate effective techniques in beauty business.
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
• Strong communication skills, project management, and organizational skills a must.
• Ability to manage and develop people
• 5-7 years of hands-on visual merchandising experience
• Working knowledge of In-design, excel, word, and photoshop
• Experience with store design and all aspects of store environment.
• Customer focused ideas that drive results
• Bachelor's degree

Pay Range
USD $97,200.00 - USD $162,000.00 /Yr.
