We are looking to add a Senior Social Media Specialist to our team. If you are passionate about marketing, thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, and are interested in working with a company focused on satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.

In this position, you will support CesiumAstroโ€™s presentation and content library under the direction of the Senior Graphic Designer. This role formats and produces slides, templates, and supporting visual assets for internal, business development, recruiting, and marketing use, applying established brand and design standards. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in visual design and PowerPoint, works well within defined processes, and is eager to build technical knowledge of CesiumAstroโ€™s products through close collaboration with more senior designers and subject matter experts.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Format and produce presentation slides for business development, recruiting, marketing, and internal use, following established templates and brand standards.
  • Support the Senior Graphic Designer in designing and updating slide layouts, diagrams, charts, and icons for the presentation library.
  • Support rapid-turnaround design requests from Business Development and Marketing under general supervision.
  • Incorporate feedback from Marketing, Business Development, and Engineering stakeholders into slide revisions.
  • Deliver polished, accurate presentation materials on schedule, supporting a consistent and up-to-date presentation library.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining CesiumAstroโ€™s presentation library and slide repository.
  • Support version control and help ensure access to current, approved content.
  • Help archive outdated materials and identify opportunities to improve templates and systems for efficiency and consistency.
  • Design supporting marketing collateral, including one-pagers, digital graphics, and trade show materials, under the direction of the Senior Graphic Designer.
  • Build working knowledge of CesiumAstroโ€™s products and technologies to support accurate visual communication.
  • Follow established content review processes to help ensure accuracy, branding, and confidentiality standards are met.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2โ€“5 years of experience with a Bachelorโ€™s degree in presentation design, graphic design, or marketing communications.
  • Working knowledge of typography, layout, and visual storytelling principles.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint for presentation design, information design, and content organization.
  • Ability to apply established brand and design standards consistently across all visual communications.
  • Basic understanding of how to translate technical or business content into clear visuals, with support from senior team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple design requests, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver polished, accurate work on schedule.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Development, and Engineering partners.
  • Initiative to identify and flag opportunities for improving templates, systems, and content organization.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Receptiveness to feedback and ability to incorporate revisions efficiently.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, government, technology, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries.
